My residency was in musculoskeletal (physiatry) followed by a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute. Although I am currently working with several spine surgeons, I try to treat my patients conservatively to avoid surgery. Most of the patients who present to my practice, with complaint of neck and back pain, improve with nonsurgical treatments and do not need surgery. However, it is important to realize that there are conditions where surgery is the best option but these conditions need to be recognized by a spine specialist and not necessarily a surgeon.
I perform therapeutic injection to lower back, electrodiagnostic studies (EMG and nerve conduction studies), and treat/diagnose variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
