Dr. Francis Gerard Alberta, MD

Frank Alberta, M.D., is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He has over 20 years of experience treating the most difficult problems in these joints and remains committed to improving his patients’ outcomes through teaching and medical education. Dr. Alberta has recently joined the newly established practice Orthopedic Specialists of New Jersey, which is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center. He was born and raised in New Jersey and feels privileged to be able to treat patients in his home state.
Having personally experienced orthopedic surgery as a teenager, Dr. Alberta can empathize and relate to the patient care journey. He always ensures open communication and is passionate about patient education, so that each individual can take charge of their own health care.
