Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice as a neurologist with special interest and training in child neurology. I look forward to working with you and your family.
Biography
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. I was born at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. My parents were Kaiser Permanente physicians, and I even married a Kaiser Permanente physician. Even when I was a young child, I knew that I wanted to be a physician, in part because of the compassionate care I saw my parents provide throughout their careers. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people’s lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity. I especially enjoy working with children and their families.
About my practice
Medicine as a career gives me the opportunity to connect with and help people in meaningful ways, utilizing medical skills and knowledge but also …listening and responding to what patients need. Communication with my patients and their families is an important part of my practice. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and do my best to treat them as I would want my own family to be treated.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s emphasis on the health of the whole person, and I try to apply this philosophy to my own life. My family life is my highest priority outside of work. I enjoy traveling with my family. I cannot wait until my toddler can learn to ski with me and my husband in Mammoth. I look forward to weekly salsa dance classes so I can keep up with my Cuban husband!
