Dr. Gary Culp Richter, MD

Gary C. Richter, M.D., of Consultative Gastroenterology of Atlanta is a consulting physician on the Shepherd Center medical team. He is dual-board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Richter provides digestive disease management to patients with problems such as GERD, colitis and peptic ulcers.
Dr. Richter was the first African-American appointed as president of the Medical Association of Atlanta and serves as director of the board for the Medical Association of Georgia. He is married with two daughters.
