Dr. Gaurav Agarwal, MD

Dr. Agarwal is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist. He was elected chief resident from his residency program at the University of Central Florida. He graduated cum laude from the American University of Antigua where he obtained his medical degree and received a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Irvine.
Dr. Agarwal aims to create a collaborative and patient-centered treatment environment. His practice focuses on medication management. Typically, he offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. He is a proponent of psychoeducation and believes it is an integral part of each treatment plan.
Dr. Agarwal has worked with a variety of patients in medical settings such as inpatient, outpatient, and consult psychiatry.
