George Wooming, M.D. has been a Dallas favorite since starting his private dermatology practice in 1995. Intrigued with the visual aspect of dermatology, Dr. Wooming knew what he wanted to specialize in during his second year in medical school. Known for his friendly manner and like-ability, he is a board certified physician who has seen a great deal of change since graduating from the University of Miami Medical School. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital and cosmetic dermatology fellowship at Gulf South Medical and Surgical Institute, before serving in the U.S. Navy as Dermatology Department Head at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan. Dr. Wooming especially enjoys the loyalty he experiences with his patients who have grown up visiting his practice for all of their dermatological needs.
Well known for his publications and research, he is affiliated with Medical City Dallas, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, and Parkland Hospital / UT Southwestern as a …Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatologic Surgery.
“As a Medical Doctor specializing in diseases of the skin, hair and nails, my number one priority is your health. Regular screenings and proper skin care are essential to preventing and dealing with symptoms before they become more serious.”
“One of the most exciting areas of my practice is when I get to help my patients “roll back the years”. With all of the ongoing innovation in cosmetic procedures, I really enjoy the happiness that I am able to bring to people using the latest procedures and technology. Our clinic specializes in laser and liposculpture. I have spent my entire career refining my skills, so please think carefully before allowing a non-medical professional to perform any cosmetic procedure on you or your family.”
