I am delighted to be part of the wonderful network of primary and specialty pediatric care providers at St. Luke’s. As a pediatric gastroenterologist, it is my responsibility and privilege to care for children from birth to adolescence, managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. Whether dealing with a simple or complex health matter, I strive to work closely with patients, their families and primary care providers, tackling issues as members of one team, each doing their part for the patient’s well being.
My pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training was at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio where I was fortunate to have exposure to a high volume of procedures and complexities. My research interests have been in areas of environmental triggers of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease, impact of COVID-19 on pediatric inflammatory bowel disease diagnosis and comorbidities in polyposis syndromes.
As a pediatrician and a parent, I recognize that a …healthy childhood is the foundation of healthy adulthood. With that in mind, I find tremendous sense of reward in the quest to help patients in the most consequential time of their lives.
My interests outside of work include exploring the outdoors with family, learning about paleontology and space exploration, dabbling in film making and also listening to (and then denying listening to) Taylor Swift.
