Dr. Jeffrey S. Gitt hails from Detroit, Michigan. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Zoology. He obtained his medical training at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, in Pomona, California, graduating in 1983. He completed his Internship at Phoenix General Hospital in 1984. Dr Gitt did his residency in Neurology at Georgtetown University Medical Center from 1984-1987, also serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Gitt then relocated to the Phoenix area in 1987, and has been in private practice in the Phoenix area for the last 25 years. Dr. Gitt is board certified in Neurology by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, in Sleep Medicine by The American Board of Sleep Medicine and is a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist, by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Dr. Gitt is one of the founders of HOPE Research Institute which is a successful multi specialty clinical research organization. Dr. …Gitt has been a Principal Investigator in over 70 clinical drug trials. Currently he has ongoing clinical drug trials in the areas of Alzheimer%u2019s disease, Migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson%u2019s disease, and others.
