John Edmund Croghan, MD earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He received residency training in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in geriatric medicine at John Hopkins University-School of Medicine and a fellowship in rheumatology at George Washington University Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, rheumatology and geriatric medicine. Dr. Croghan is especially interested in arthritis and successful aging through prevention. Dr. Croghan serves as the Director of Geriatric Medicine and Wound Care for Provena Health-Resurrection Health Care, now joined as Presence Health. Dr. Croghan is on staff at Saint Francis Hospital and other community hospitals in the neighborhood. His office participates in Medicare and Medicaid, as well as most major HMO, PPO and conventional insurance plans.
