Dr. Jose Eusebio Sarria, MD

Dr. Jose E Sarria is a board-certified pain medicine and palliative care physician, founder of The Peregrine Institute in Tampa, Florida. Former chief of the Pain Medicine Service at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Sarria is an assistant professor of neurology and oncology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Sarria received his medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, graduating sixth in his class. He completed a surgical internship at Brown University School of Medicine in Rhode Island and a residency in anesthesia at USF. Dr. Sarria pursued advanced training through a pain management fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Sarria is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine, the American Pain Association Eastern Chapter and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Sarria is fluent in English and Spanish.
