Dr. Joseph Benjamin Delozier, MD

Committed to improving the quality of his patients lives, Dr. DeLozier focuses on both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. By performing reconstructive as well as aesthetic procedures, Dr. DeLozier intimately understands the functional aspects of surgery. His reconstructive work gives a fresh start to individuals who have experienced injuries, birth defects, and other serious problems. His cosmetic work helps many people achieve lifelong dreams.
Dr. DeLozier received his B.A. from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee before going on to earn his M.D. at the University of Tennessee in 1982. He then completed both a general surgery residency and a plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a Craniofacial Surgery Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, which afforded him the opportunity for greater specialization and advanced training. Dr. DeLozier is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Plastic …Surgery, and he is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
Recognized as a leader in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. DeLozier believes in contributing to the medical community. He serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is the author of numerous articles. Dr. DeLozier has also lectured on many plastic surgery topics and has been the recipient of several important research grants.
