Dr. Philley studied medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, National Jewish Health in Denver, and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While a resident at Johns Hopkins, she received its Award for Humanism and Professionalism. Dr. Philley specializes in caring for people with mycobacterial lung infections, a rare condition that is very hard to treat.
