Dr. Kumar is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Pasco County. One of his primary goals in treating his patients is to make them feel comfortable. Dr. Kumar received his medical degree from Stanley Medical College in Madras. He completed residency training and a fellowship in Hematology at the Detroit Medical Center at Wayne State University. He later was awarded a fellowship in Oncology at the University of Miami Comprehensive Cancer Center.
