Dr. Kopkash is the Director of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery for NorthShore University HealthSystem. She is a fellowship trained and board certified surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of breast cancer and high risk for breast cancer conditions. Her focus is oncoplastic breast conservation, including hidden scar approaches, and nipple-sparing mastectomies. Dr. Kopkash is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and her research focuses include surgical innovation and quality of life for breast cancer survivors.
