Born and raised in Wisconsin, Dr. Krista attended dental school at the University of Iowa. At graduation, she received the Oral Maxillofacial Pathology Award for her work in oral pathology, or the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the mouth and jaw. While living in Iowa, Dr. Krista worked at a federally-qualified health clinic, where she provided dental care to the community of West Des Moines. Her favorite compliments came from patients with severe dental anxiety who trusted in her.
Outside of work, Dr. Krista loves to stay active and enjoys outdoor activities like boating, soccer, and hiking. She also loves animals and helping local rescues. She has adopted and rescued several animals in the past, and currently has one rescue kitty named Elle. Dr. Krista would love to hear stories and see pictures of your beloved pets at home! ☺
Dr. Krista believes in the importance of getting to know her patients in order to develop the best personalized treatment plan. She has a …passion for cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, implant dentistry, and restorative work. Her positive outlook on life and cheerful demeanor will reassure patients that they made the right choice by finding a dental home at Austin Dental Spa.
Dr. Krista looks forward to helping you obtain your healthiest, most beautiful smile yet.
