Dr. Kristina Mathews Lafaye, MD

Kristina Lafaye, M.D. has been on staff at Ochsner since 2005. She is board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Lafaye received undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas before relocating to New Orleans for her medical training. Dr. Lafaye earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. Her post-doctorate training was also completed at Tulane where he completed a residency in neurology followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Lafaye performs nerve conduction studies and electromyography in her practice. Her area of expertise includes disorders of the peripheral nervous system and neuromuscular diseases.
