Dr. Teverbaugh oversees clinical services provided by trainees in school-based health clinics across Jefferson and Orleans Parishes, in addition to her role as a pediatric psychiatrist at Children’s Hospital and JeffCare, a community health center. She holds the prestigious position of a distinguished fellow in the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar’s Program and serves as the Clinical Director of emPOWER NOLA. This innovative program focuses on training African American social networks that interact with youth, equipping them to identify children impacted by trauma and connect them with trauma-informed care.
