Dr. Leonard Lado, ABPN, RPh, MD

Dr. Lado graduated from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy of Long Island University in 1983 where he received his Degree in pharmacy. While in college he received a scholarship to conduct Biomedical Research. He continued his training at the the Universidad Del Noreste in Tampico Mexico where he got his degree Medicine and Surgery. He was accepted to Mt. Sinai School of Medicine Fifth Pathway Program. He completed his internship in General Surgery in the Michael E DeBakey program at Baylor. He then completed his residency at the University of Texas in Houston Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is now practicing in Bonita Springs as a Board Certified Psychiatrist with Emphasis in Addiction. He has been Principal Investigator in at least 10 clinical trials and and sub investigator in about 80 Clinical Trials. He integrates the science of pharmacogenetics in the treatment with psycho-tropics to enhance targeted efficacy. He has appeared in various …television and radio shows.
