Dr. Linda Lou Wong, MD

Dr. Linda Wong returned to Hawaii in 1993 and joined Surgical Associates, Inc. to start the liver transplant program and performed the first liver transplant in that year. Since then, more than 100 liver transplants have been performed. In addition to liver transplants, Dr. Wong also specializes in hepatobiliary surgery, kidney transplants, bone marrow transplants and also performs many complex general surgery procedures. Previously, she was a Professor of Surgery for the University of Hawaii. And now, Dr. Wong is involved in many research projects, writing of scientific papers and teaching at the Cancer Research Center. Dr. Wong is also consistently named to the list of Best Doctors by the Honolulu Magazine.
