Dr. Lubna Siddiki, MD

Dr. Lubna Siddiki is a board-certified General Adult Psychiatrist that has been assisting and guiding patients in the DFW metroplex and surrounding areas since 2005. Dr. Siddiki understands the difficulties people with mental illness face in balancing their personal, work, and social aspects in their day-to-day lives. She takes a customized approach, creating a partnership with the patient, their family, and other providers to carve out a treatment plan. She believes that patients should be given the lead to planning their treatment. Physician recommendations are then provided to help them feel more in control of their situation. Dr. Siddiki was able to gain extensive experience in the field of Psychiatry due to her training at the county facility – John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. After finishing her residency training, she worked at the Green Oaks Hospital Psychiatric ER for two and a half years supervising and managing emergency psychiatric cases that needed …immediate care and placement She then continued to Collin County Mental Health in Plano as their outpatient staff psychiatrist for six and a half years. Due to her comprehensive training in a county health facility, Dr. Siddiki has vast experience in dealing with chronic psychiatric illnesses such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorders, Schizophrenia, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, and Substance Abuse/ Dependence Issues. Dr. Siddiki is also trained to treat treatment-resistant case with an alternative to medications like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulations (TMS) and Intranasal Ketamine (Spravato). She obtained expertise in serving the chronically mentally ill population in the North Texas community, which included nursing and group home patients. Additionally, she conducted a special clinic once a week to be of service to individuals with developmental disabilities like Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc. She has also worked as a medical director at an eating disorder facility, identifying patients dealing with abnormal eating behaviors and body image issues. Throughout her professional career, Dr. Siddiki has dedicated her knowledge and expertise to providing care and attending to the needs of her psychiatric patients. After she obtained a plethora of experience in various settings, Dr. Siddiki opened her private practice in Frisco, Texas, where she provides premium mental health care to all her patients.
