Dr. Mahpara Qureshi, MD

Dr. Mahpara Qureshi of First Medical Associates in Gaithersburg, Maryland is a board-certified internist with over twenty-five years of experience. She completed her medical school from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She did her residency from Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York where she was appointed as a Chief Resident in her third year. After completing her residency, she worked as a hospitalist at four different hospitals and at a nursing home, thus gaining expertise in the care of acutely ill patients as well as those needing subacute and long-term rehab. Since 2016 she has been working as a primary care physician and has enjoyed the transition to outpatient medicine. She believes in earning the trust and confidence of her patients through compassionate care and the practice of evidence-based medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Qureshi enjoys reading and traveling with her family. She also volunteers some of her free time for charities.
