Dr. Brooks graduated Summa cum laude from UC Irvine in 1984. Dr. Brooks then received her medical degree from Harvard in 1988. Subsequently, she completed her surgery and oncology residency and fellowship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital (affiliated with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute). She then spent over 13 years at UCLA in the Breast Center and the Oncology Clinic, before starting her own private practice. Dr. Brooks is married and has two children. In her free time, she enjoys volunteer work.
Dr. Brooks’ focus is in breast disease and skin/soft tissue cancer/sarcoma. She is also board-certified in General Surgery (hernia, gallbladder, stomach, intestine, colon, anorectum, spleen, lymph nodes).
