Dr. Prelipcean is a native of Bucharest, Romania. She received her Medical Degree from “Carol Davila” Medical School in Bucharest. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Academic Internal Medicine Fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Prelipcean is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Dr. Prelipcean is a member of the American College of Physicians, Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist, and American Medical Association. Her special interest includes diabetes, osteoporosis and general endocrinology.
