Dr. Mark Huntington Whiteford, MD

Dr. Whiteford graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and later completed his general surgery internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Whiteford finished his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He brings The Oregon Clinic – Gastrointestinal and Minimally Invasive Surgery (GMIS) several honors and awards, and was the 2007 recipient of the Society of the Alimentary Tract Traveling Fellowship in Surgical Endoscopy. He was also inducted in the Marquis Who’s Who in America publication in 2010. Dr. Whiteford is the Clinical Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and is a member of many organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, and the Northwest Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
