Dr. Mark Downey is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry) specializing in musculoskeletal disorders of the spine, particularly degenerative disc disease. He brings a nonsurgical approach to management with advanced training in interventional procedures such as cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural injections under fluoroscopy. He also performs other fluoroscopic injections including discograms, SI joint injections, facet injections, sympathetic blocks, and trigger point injections. In addition, he performs electrodiagnostic (EMG) nerve studies for nerve injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
