I am a board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic spine surgeon in private practice specializing in the nonoperative and surgical treatment of various disorders of the spine. I am also a clinical instructor and part-time faculty member at the UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School Dept. of Orthopaedics in Newark, New Jersey. My training is extensive and includes training in the latest minimally invasive techniques, such as: injection procedures, kyphoplasty, IDET, microdiscectomy, fusion, etc. In my practice, each patient receives a thorough evaluation and all patients are educated with respect to their condition. The natural history of each condition and all nonoperative and operative treatment options are reviewed with each patient. Most importantly, all patients participate in their own care. Because each patient is unique, treatment regimens are adjusted when necessary. Typically, surgical intervention is reserved as a last resort in appropriately indicated individuals who have …failed a conservative and lengthy nonoperative treatment regimen. In my practice, a patient’s care and well-being come first.
