Dr. Welp is board certified in both family medicine and emergency medicine. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from Indiana University and completed her residency at St. Francis Hospital Center in Beech Grove, Indiana.
The mother of two moved to Texas in 1984 and practiced medicine in nearby Carrollton for 26 years prior to joining Methodist.
