Dr. Stringfellow earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. She completed her internship and residency at Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham, Alabama, and her fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Stringfellow is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncolog. She has been on staff at Ochsner since the Fall of 2002. Her special medical interests include benign and malignant hematology and coagulation disorders.
