Dr. Matthew Wise, MDAfter graduating as the Valedictorian of his college class, Dr. Wise attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, The National Medical Honor Society. He then completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. He subsequently provided comprehensive Women’s Health Care at an Indian Health Service facility in Gallup, New Mexico and at a Critical Access Hospital in California’s Eastern Sierra. During his nearly 20 years of practice in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Wise continued to seek out additional medical training and education.One of those educational experiences involved shadowing Dr. Bruce Hoyle at Advanced Vein Center. Dr. Wise realized that there was an urgent and growing need for vein care in the United States, and he decided to pursue comprehensive training in venous medicine. He completed one of 4 prestigious fellowship programs accredited …by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine in northern New Jersey. After completion of his fellowship he returned to Advanced Vein Center to continue his specialized practice in Vein Care.
