Dr. Melissa Kay Li, MD

After attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Li returned to her native Oregon to attend OHSU School of Medicine. She served her Residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Washington and stayed at UW as a Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellow with the late Dr. Roger Haggitt. She was a Forensic Pathology Fellow with the King County Medical Examiner’s Office in Seattle, and finished training as a Surgical Pathology Fellow at the University of California, San Diego working with Dr. Noel Weidner. Dr. Li served on the Pathology Faculty at the University of Florida in the Gastrointestinal/Liver Pathology unit and was an Assistant Medical Examiner before coming to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
