Michael Savin, M.D. specializes in medical oncology and hematology. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. Dr. Savin was formerly professor of Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and from 1995 to 2005 he was clinical professor of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He is the stem cell/bone marrow transplantation attending physician and member of the advisory board for The Caring Corner (support for grieving children). He is a medical board member for Gilda’s House. Dr. Savin is currently the research site director and principal investigator for US Oncology Research at Texas Oncology-Medical City Dallas.
