Board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, Dr. Michael Schwartz is the co-chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also is a Principal Investigator for the National Cancer Institute sponsored Community Clinical Oncology Program. A graduate of Rutgers Medical School, Dr. Schwartz completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and his fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer. He was selected as one of the top breast cancer specialists nationwide in 2001.
