Dr. Cioroiu is medical director of the Wound Healing Center at Englewood Hospital. He is an assistant professor of clinical surgery and a board-certified wound care specialist. Dr. Cioroiu earned his medical degree at Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in Romania. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Cabrini Medical Center, in New York. He then completed training in advanced wound care, working as a wound care specialist in several institutions in New York City.Dr. Cioroiu sees patients with chronic non-healing wounds and has a particular interest in difficult-to-heal wounds. He specializes in the evaluation and management of patients with diabetic, arterial, venous, and pressure-injury wounds.
