Omid Jazaeri, MD, RPVI, FACS, FSVS, FSMB, is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon. Dr. Jazaeri cares deeply about his patients’ whole health and is passionate to provide quality care to best support their happiest, healthiest and most fulfilling lives possible. He chose vascular surgery because he enjoys the surgeon-patient relationships and complexity of decision-making, often with holistic and ethical implications.
Dr. Jazaeri earned his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine; he completed his fellowship training in vascular and endovascular surgery at Harbor UCLA Medical Center Los Angeles County working with pioneers in the endovascular treatment of aortic diseases. Previously, Dr. Jazaeri was an associate professor of Surgery, Radiology and Bioengineering and founded and served as Program Director for the Vascular Surgery Fellowship Training Program at CU Anschutz.
Dr. Jazaeri is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Western Vascular …Surgical Society, as well as other regional and national organizations. He is a former two-term member of the Colorado Medical Board serving the citizens of Colorado. He has been named a 5280 Top Doc by his peers in 5280 Magazine. Dr. Jazaeri is currently on the executive board of Colorado Physician Health Program and is engaged in physician health and wellness.
When he is not working, he enjoys time with his family and taking care of dog Hazel and his Bee’s.
