I was born in Illinois, but moved with my family at the tender age of two to Southern California. I was drawn to medicine due to my interest in science and the enjoyment of helping people every day. I work part-time in order to spend more time with my young children and visit my large extended family in California. My husband works part-time as well, and helps tremendously with our children. I enjoy photography and traveling when time permits.
