He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After completing an Internal Medicine internship at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, he trained in Dermatology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution. Dr. Rusonis has been in private practice and a part-time instructor of Dermatology at Johns Hopkins Hospital since 1986. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Maryland Dermatology Society.
