Dr. Johnson is a native of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and received his Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his Surgical Residency at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Dr. Johnson completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Northwestern University and a Laparoscopic and Bariatric Fellowship at the University of Missouri. Dr. Johnson is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Candidate of the American College of Surgeons.
