Robert E. Bristow, M.D. is welcomed by Long Beach Memorial as the medical director of gynecologic oncology at the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute (TCI). Recognized internationally as an expert in the surgical treatment of ovarian cancer, Dr. Bristow received his medical degree from the University of Southern California, completed his residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and his fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine/Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Bristow has authored a textbook on his specialty and published numerous articles and studies in peer-reviewed journals.
