Dr. Penn is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. He participates and is currently in the ABIM Maintenance of Certification program. Dr. Penn is affiliated with Nebraska Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital. His practice operates privately through his company, Infectious Diseases Associates, P.C.
Dr. Penn also provides infection prevention services for certain entities within the Nebraska Methodist Health System. He has served Methodist in this way since 1981. Dr. Penn also served as Medical Director of the Department of Epidemiology at Childrens’ Hospital from 1981 to 1993. Dr. Penn is a Fellow of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
