Dr. Robert Jeffrey Zwiener, MD

Gastroenterologist R. Jeff Zwiener, M.D., came to `Specially For Children from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he was an associate professor of pediatrics. A native Austinite, Dr. Zwiener studied medicine at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio and completed a residency and fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. He has conducted research in the areas of pediatric hypercholesterolemia and hepatitis and is the author or co-author of more than 20 articles and book chapters. He has been listed in The Best Doctors in America and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
