I have dedicated my entire 34 yrs in vascular surgery and have focused my life to the study and practice of treating arterial and venous disease. Goodman Vein and Laser Center opened in 2003 and was and is the first and only vein center in Western Massachusetts directed by a vascular surgeon, Board Certified. My staff and I are committed to maintaining current with the ever-changing protocols and treatments in vein disease. I am proud to state that I am a member of the prestigious American College of Phlebology, American Venous Forum, Society of Vascular Surgery, New England Society of Vascular Surgeons, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, Intersociety Accreditation (IAC), Society of Vascular Ultrasound and the American Medical Society. We are IAC accredited.
Our goal is to educate each patient specifically with their personal vein issues, communicate effectively as an educated patient is more apt to comply with the …necessary protocols treating vein disease. Healthy legs promote active, healthy lifestyles and vein disease can cause symptom that can effect activity levels, thus slowing people down. Symptoms such as achiness, heaviness, leg fatigue, itchiness, burning, swelling, cramping, restless leg syndrome and ulceration. Accurate diagnosis and a tailored treatment plan will eliminate these symptoms, and that important active lifestyle will return. Professionally, my goal is to allow you to achieve this and go live life to it’s fullest!
