Dr. Robert Michael Trimmer, MD

Dr. Trimmer was born and raised in Northern California, and attended medical school at Loma Linda University. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at the UCSF Fresno Medical Education and Research Center and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry. In 2016, he will join TMS Health Solutions and focus on treating patients who are 18 and older.
Dr. Trimmer’s training and expertise includes the pharmacologic management of mood disorders, with a special emphasis on crisis intervention. He is rewarded by partnering with critical needs patients, helping them understand their symptom complexes, and implementing treatment plans that support them in leading live healthy and balanced lives. Dr. Trimmer began offering transcranial magnetic stimulation to his patients in 2013, as an alternative treatment for depression.
Prior to joining TMS Health Solutions, Dr. Trimmer worked at the Sutter Center for Psychiatry from 2006-2007 and provided …care at a psychiatry group in the Sacramento Valley for nine years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano, running and spending time outdoors.
