Dr. Sam Cowart

Sam Cowart is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 12 years of experience helping adult clients who are suffering from panic attacks, anxiety, depression, adjustment-related issues, anger, OCD, trauma, PTSD, and more. Sam utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions-focused brief therapy, and a humanistic approach to assist each client as a unique individual. She knows that counseling is inevitably a vulnerable experience. It’s one that gently asks you to let your guard down a bit, and it’s a way to get to know yourself better, regardless of what you’d like to work on. Maybe you’re going through a particularly hard time, or maybe you find yourself feeling like there’s something in your life you’d like to change. Whatever the reason may be, Sam’s number one goal as your counselor is to provide you with a safe and nonjudgmental environment so that you can feel comfortable navigating these things.
