Dr. Sarah Blizzard

Dr. Sarah Blizzard DNP, PMHNP, FNP is a highly trained psychiatric nurse practitioner at Excel Psychiatry in Windermere, Florida. She has over 25 years of experience working with patients of all ages for both medical and psychiatric problems, including those with multiple conditions and complicated cases.
Dr. Blizzard is passionate about easy access to care, accepting patients of all levels, and ensuring they get the care they need. She specializes in depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and ADHD, as well as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and geriatric psychiatry.
After earning her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Blizzard received a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She obtained a post-master’s certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and is dual-certified as a family nurse practitioner and a PMHNP.
Dr. Blizzard earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Maryville …University. She holds advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Florida. She is highly skilled in emergency medicine, psychiatric services, outpatient clinics, urgent care, and inpatient care.
Dr. Blizzard is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Central Florida Advanced Nursing Practice Council.
She provides superior care to all of her patients and strongly believes in the importance of easily accessible psychiatric services for everyone. Dr. Blizzard offers telepsychiatry services to help patients who may not otherwise receive the care they need.
