Alright, I’ll admit it – I went to Dr. Seshadri expecting another rushed, impersonal appointment. My last PCP spent more time typing than looking at me. But from the moment Seshadri walked in – coffee stain on his lab coat, asking about my awful commute before my blood pressure – I knew this was different.
When I mentioned my weird afternoon dizzy spells, he didn’t just check the usual boxes. He had me track my water intake, got me a cheap heart rate monitor to wear at work, and – this blew my mind – actually called me after hours to discuss the results. Turns out I was dehydrated AND having mild hypoglycemia. Two fixable things my last doctor missed for years.
The kicker? He remembered my daughter’s college finals week and asked how she did at my follow-up. Who does that? I’ve started calling him ‘Dr. Sherlock’ because nothing gets past him. My only complaint is that his waiting room magazines are terrible – bring your own book.
