Dr. Seaver Lee Soon, MD

Dr. Soon received his medical degree from McMaster University School of Medicine in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Science from the same institution, graduating summa cum laude. He completed his dermatology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Soon completed his fellowship in procedural dermatology at Scripps Clinic in June 2007, with particular emphasis on Mohs micrographic surgery and laser and cosmetic dermatology. He is currently a medical staff member in the Division of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at Scripps Clinic.
Dr. Soons clinical interests are broad. His medical interests focus on inflammatory skin disease, while his surgical interests include Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer in high-risk populations (immunosuppression and transplantation medicine), and laser and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Soon is director of the Tumescent Liposculpture Unit at Scripps …Clinics Laser & Cosmetic Dermatology Center in Carmel Valley.
Dr. Soon participates in clinical investigation, has authored numerous scientific publications, and lectures at national conferences.
