Dr. Sen Sen Liu, MD

Establishing connections with patients can be the starting point to explore issues causing mental struggles in us. My goal is to be the working partner with patients and work through these issues to alleviate both mental and physical distress. Areas of interests for me include depression, anxiety, stress and trauma related disorders, mood disorders, Asian American and immigrant mental health. I use both psychotherapy and medications as indicated in my treatment. Therapeutic approaches that I use include psychodynamic, behavioral, and supportive therapies.
Prior to moving to California, I spent the majority of my time on the East Coast. I attended University of Pennsylvania for my undergraduate study and received my medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. I started my training in psychiatry at Hahnemann University Hospital where I completed my internship and finished my psychiatry residency at Temple University Hospital. My training allowed me to work with a very …diverse patient population in various clinical settings.

1) I do not perform disability evaluations or assessments.
2) I currently do not take new patients who are interested in seeking evaluations or treatments of ADHD.
