Sina Matin, MD is a board-certified surgeon and serves as the Section Chief of Surgery for HealthTexas Provider Network. He also serves as the Vice Chair for the Medical Executive Committee and served as the Chief of Surgery and Medical Director of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine from 2017 – 2023. Dr. Matin provides care to patients aged 17 and older. In addition to general surgery, he is highly experienced in advanced laparoscopic surgery, revisional bariatric surgery, and minimally invasive surgery using small incisions and specialized video cameras through robotic technology.Dr. Matin is the President of the Texas Association for Bariatric Surgery (TABS) and is renowned in the Dallas Fort Worth region for helping morbidly obese patients gain their lives and health back through surgical weight loss treatments.
