Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with particular expertise in Hip and KneeDr. Mikulak is one of the pioneers of minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery. He was the first surgeon in Orange County to perform outpatient hip replacement surgery. His protocol for pain management coupled with less invasive surgery has resulted in rapid recovery from hip and knee replacement surgeries.At USC, he received numerous prestigious academic scholarships and was named Alpha Omega Alpha honor society for his outstanding performance in medical school. To complete his training, Dr. Mikulak crossed town to UCLA where he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and a subspecialty fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery. He has published and presented extensive research projects.
