Dr. Serbin graduated from Albright College in 1969 and completed his medical degree at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA in 1976. He completed his Family Practice Residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in 1979, and he is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Serbin founded Family Medicine Centers when he opened the Springwood Lake Family Practice location in 1979. He has served as a member of the USC School of Medicine faculty since 1980, and he was the Director of Industrial Medicine for the Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Division for 16 years. Dr. Serbin has also served as the Chairman of the Family Practice Department at Palmetto Baptist Hospital. His special interests include Geriatrics, Sleep Medicine, and Occupational Medicine.
